Resume writing is not an art form. The word "art" implies beauty. I can't think of anything beautiful about gut wrenching process of trying to condense your whole life down to a single page or so in an attempt to get past an HR manager.

Resume writing might better be called a battle. The job of your resume is to trigger enough keywords and have the right look and feel to get you an interview for that dream job.
