Sam's Club is a membership warehouse club established by Walmart in 1983. The program was designed to compete with Costco and local warehouse clubs. The program was named for Walmart's Founder Sam Walton and is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The web site offers free site to store shipping and includes some site to home free shipping offers. Non-members pay a 10% service charge on their orders. You can buy a membership card online which is good both online and at your local club.
Walmart is the world's largest retailer. They trade on the NYSE with the symbol WMT. They have over ten thousand locations worldwide and over six hundred Sam's Clubs.
