Floor & Décor is a rapidly expanding chain of warehouse stores offering hardwood and stone flooring.
The company was founded in 2000 by George West whose family had developed West Building Materials. The first store and corporate headquarters are in Smyrna, Ga. The company was owned by FDO Holdings
The company had grown to 67 stores in 17 states when it went public on the NYSE with the symbol FND in 2016. The company's store map showed over a hundred locations when I visited it in 2019.
