It's Just Lunch is a matchmaking site founded in Chicago in 1991 by Irene Lacota who decided that the ideal first meeting was a casual lunch.
The company has since expanded its matchmaking and date planning services to make the first casual date as easy and comfortable as possible.
Corporate History
- 1981: company founded in Chicago
- 2001: IJL became a franchise system with headquarters in Palm Desert, Calif.
- 2006: The Riverside Company acquired IJL.
