Mercy Housing is an effort started in the 1980s by Sister Timothy Marie O’Roark with the Sisters of Mercy in Omaha, Ne.
The goal of the project is to create affordable housing for low income families. The project had developed a variety of housing complexes and facilities around the nation.
The site has information on making donations, volunteer opportunities along with resources to help people find housing. Here is a PSA
