AEA Investors

AEA Investors is a private equity firm specializes in middle market companies. Their site claimed to have $15 billion under management in May 2019.

Corporate History

Their site lists investments starting in 1990. It appears that AEA holds its investments for only a few years. I copied their portfolio and ordered it by year. I will add additional information for transactions that I encounter in my research of who owns what in the community.

• 1968: The company was founded as American European Associates to handle investments for S.G. Warburg & Co. along with money from the Rockefeller, Mellon, and Harriman families.
