- 2012: Oaktree began trading on the NYSE with the symbol OAK.
- 2013: Oaktree and Hines acquired the four apartment complexes of The Gateway in Salt Lake City.
- 2016: Oaktree and Vestar acquired the retail and entertainment center of the Gateway Mall in SLC.
- 2017: Oaktree and Hines Realty acquired Dublin Corporate Center in the East Bay from JP Morgan for $102 Million.
- 2019: Oaktree acquired bankrupt David's Bridal.
