Ridgemont Equity Partners is a private equity firm that was created during the 2009 merger of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. Originally called BAML Capital Partners, the firm changed its name to Ridgemont in 2010. Its headquarters are in Charlotte, NC.

- 1993: Bank of America created Bank of America Capital Investors.
- 2009: Bank of America acquires Merrill Lynch and spins off BAML Capital Partners.
- 2010: BAML acquires ProvoCraft from Sorenson Capital Partners.
- 2010: BAML Changes its name to Ridgemont
