🠈 Summit Partners 🠊
Summit Partners is a private equity firm based in Boston. Wikipedia says the company has over $20 billion under management. Their site lists over 300 investments. However, it provides little detail on the depth of each investment. Many of the investments appear to be minority stakes.
I am not certain how deeply the company is involved in the corporate consolidation of the current age. I will only list activity that I encounter in other research.
- 1984: Company was founded by Peter Y. Chung and Scott C. Collins in Boston.
- 2007: Summit "invested in" Champion Windows.
- 2007: Summit bought a minority stake in Snap Fitness.
