In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger is a chain of fast food restaurants from Irvine, California.
The chain was started by Snyder and Esther Snyder in 1948. Their son Rich took the helm in 1976. He perished in a plane crash in 1993. His charter plane was bashed by turbulence caused by the 757 that landed previously. The crashed caused the FAA to increase the interval between planes.
The company did not break out of California until 2000 with stores in Arizona. All restaurants and the distribution network are company owned to assure quality. The company listed 329 locations when I visited in January 2018.
The company supports the Slave 2 Nothing charity that seeks to prevent substance abuse and for end human trafficking.
