JP Morgan Chase is a financial institute created by the merger of Chase Manhattan Bank, J.P. Morgan & Co., Bank One, Bear Stearns, Washington Mutual, Chemical Bank, Manufacturers Hanover, First Chicago Bank, National Bank of Detroit, Texas Commerce Bank, Providian Financial, Great Western Bank and numerous other small financial institutions.

- 2002: JP Morgan and Brazos founded the creation of National Surgical Care (NSC)
- 2016: AmSurg acquired NSC.
- 2018: JP Morgan and BoA Merrill Lynch issued a $1.5 billion loan to US Foods to acquire Services Group of America for $1.8 billion.
- 2021: JP Morgan acquired Frank which had a financial planning web site for students with a reported client base of 5 million customers.
- 2017: Charlie Javice, a self proclaimed underprivileged woman entrepreneur, founded Frank1
- 2023: Ooops the customer list was fake. JP Morgan closed site and filed clawback lawsuits.
