- 2003: Warburg Pincus formed Transdigm Group Incorporated to acquire Transdigm.
- 2005: Odyssey acquired Neff Corp for $510 million. The Miami-based company offered equipment rental from 66 locations
- 2017: United Rentals acquired Neff Corporation for $1.3 billion. Neff had 69 equipment rental facilities and $867 million in equipment.
- 2010: Odyssey acquired Peninsula Packaging.
- 2017: Sonoco acquired Peninsula.
- 2010: Odyssey acquired an aerospace firm in Springville, Utah called Wencor Group. Odyssey funded an aggressive expansion
- 2011: Wencor Aerospace Coatings International
- 2012: Wencor acquired Soundair Aviation Services.
- 2012: Wencor acquired Absolute Aviation Services.
- 2014: Wencor acquired Flightline Products.

- 2011: Odyssey acquired TNT Crane & Rigging from MML Capital Partners

- 2016: Odyssey invested in Addison Group which is a Chicago based staffing firm.
- 2019: Odyssey acquired Barcodes Inc., a Chicago firm that helps companies acquire and manage barcodes and RFID devices from Cortec Group
- 1994: Barcodes founded in Chicago.
- 2012: Cortec Group acquired the firm.
